Research
Published work
Peer-reviewed papers on benfotiamine. Case reports from clinical practice and reviews of the literature on nerve and brain health.
Dr. Mann’s publications follow a single line of inquiry: the role of benfotiamine, a form of vitamin B1, in the function and resilience of nerves and brain. The earliest papers grow out of his clinical work with peripheral neuropathy. The more recent ones reach into adjacent territory where the same biology applies, from Parkinson’s and ALS to Long COVID brain fog.
Two formats run through the list. Case reports document outcomes observed in his own patients. Literature reviews synthesize what the wider published research has established. Several papers combine both.
